MCCAIN PART TW: The Pittsburgh Steelers are owned by Dan Rooney. The Arizona Cardinals are owned by Bill Bidwill and the team is run by his son Michael Bidwill. Not only are the team owners competing to win Super Bowl 43 but they stand on the opposite ends of the political spectrum — or at least that was the case in the 2008 Presidential election. When the Steelers won the AFC Championship Rooney shipped a game ball to President Barack bama at the White House. Can’t get enough of the Pfizer-Wyeth deal? Neither can we. The companies are holding a press conference and we’re listening in on that one too. We just live blogged the analyst call. 10:14: Reuters asks whether investors will be satisfied with flat earnings until 2012. Do they need to have patience? Pfizer CE Jeff Kindler says they’ll be able to put together a business that can create consistent stable earnings over the long term through 2012 and beyond.
