A case filed in New York may wind up adding a new item to the list of threats faced by the blogging community: irate fashion models. It's not that models pose a general threat to bloggers per se—I suspect I'm not alone at Ars in thinking that my work is unlikely to attract the attention much less the ire of a professional model. But any case that impinges upon the issue of how much protection is afforded to the online press and its sources does have the potential to have far-reaching consequences. In this case the suit filed by the model focuses on the anonymity of a blogger.
