TiceFive county responses are now posted on. They make it clear that the rules governing the reconsideration of rejected absentee ballots were anything but clear. The court had asked these counties (and several others whose responses haven’t yet been posted) to explain how they handled additional rejected ballots that either the Coleman or Franken campaigns wanted to see added to the list for reconsideration.

Consumerist is one of several sites Gawker has sold this year including the political gossip blog Wonkette and the travel site Gridskipper. The blog offers consumer tips like how to return products and how to confound a telemarketer and covers shopper complaints like excessive retail markups. It will become part of a new division of Consumers Union and the current editors will remain. No plans are under way to change the coverage or to begin charging for the site. “We don’t want to acquire the Consumerist and then squelch it in some way” said Kevin McKean vice president and editorial director of Consumers Union.

The Cardinals gave him more than 1200 at-bats in three seasons and skipper Tony La Russa showcased Miles’ ability to play multiple positions all of which helped to get him a nice pay day from the Cubs. I’m genuinely happy for him.
